t might not sound familiar to you, but the name J’us is quite a landmark in Târgoviște. Cosmina Lirca (vocals), George Puiu (guitars), Alin Mârzea (electric piano) and Ionuț Fleancu (drums) have been singing to us and enchanting us for years, in various formulas, combining the wonderful American jazz standards of the 40s and 50s with sophisticated café concert chords and the occasional sprinkle of magic. The first concert of this year’s BABEL Festival promises nostalgia, but also sunny days to come.
Poate că nu vă sună cunoscut, dar numele J’us este deja unul împământenit la Târgoviște. Cosmina Lirca (voce), George Puiu (chitară), Alin Mârzea (pian) și Ionuț Fleancu (tobe) ne cântă și ne încântă de ani de zile, în varii formule, combinând jazz-ul american minunat al anilor 40’ și 50’, cu acorduri fine de café concert și picuri de pasiune și magie. Primul concert al Festivalului BABEL de acest an promite nostalgie dar și zile însorite.
